  • I cannot get my ECB and WCB6200Q to work over my coax deployed in my house. I have connected the two units directly with a single length of coax and the units work.

    I also have an Xfinity X1 system an XDip unit, which I think also communicate using Moca over the coax.

    Is this a supported configuration. Will I get both devices to work without a dedicated coax run for the WCB and ECB units?

    I tried the phone support today and it is not working. I have a legitimate purchase from Actiontec online store but cannot find a phone support option for that. Can you tell me what that is?

    We are not having any issue dialing and getting through to the support via the 888-436-0657 number. What number were you calling and what option did you select once in the queue?

    As to the WCB6200Q working with a straight cable but not when placed on the bldg coax network then there is something on the network that is causing an issue. Make sure any splitters are MoCA splitters and not standard coax splitters. If your Xfinity MoCA network is running MoCA privacy you may need to disable the feature to use the ECB/WCB adapters.

  • Ok. I can check the splitters. I would guess the splitters are not Moca compliant as they are pretty old.

    When I called the support line - No matter what I chose - I ended up on the reply that told my support was not available for my equipment. Can you tell me what to choose in the navigation? I'm happy to try again.
