Why can I not hear the 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound audio on my main A/V Receiver system?

Make sure your devices are connected correctly.

  1. Verify that the video source devices (STB/DVR/Blu-Ray) are connected correctly to your Audio/Video Receiver (Check the manual for those devices for more information).
  2. Make sure that the Audio/Video Receiver is connected to your MyWirelessTV Transmitter with an HDMI cable.
  3. Check the MyWirelessTV Transmitter, to ensure it is connected to the HDTV with an HDMI cable.
  4. Also, verify that the MyWirelessTV Receiver is connected to your HDTV with an HDMI cable. This will allow the Audio/Video Receiver to process the original audio coming in from the video source and you should be able to hear 5.1 or 7.1 surround audio on your system.
