When I turn on one or both TV's I get no audio or video.

This is an HDCP (High Definition Content Protection) issue. There are a couple things to verify on the TV's and the Source device (DVR, Set Top Box). 

Make sure the source device and TV's have the following settings

Resolution = 1080i/p
Aspect = 16:9
Tv type/Format = stretch
Native mode = off
HDMI audio output = Stereo or LPCM
CEC (Consumer Electronics Communication) = off


Check with the TV manufacturer for a firmware update for the TV.

Disconnect the power from the source device for 10 seconds then power back on.
